Styling Librarian: Whatever Wednesday Sept 26
Here’s my first ever “Whatever Wednesday” post… I shared other things in the past that tickled my fancy, but I appreciate my twitter and Facebook friend David Etkin’s ( @davidaetkin ) Whatever Wednesday meme and thought it would be fun to reflect on one thing each week that really catches my attention, entertains me, and is special enough I just have to share it with the world.
Unfortunately, I often worry about copyright and share favorite pictures only on my Facebook pages… So I’ll probably share my favorite YouTube video of the month: http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Styling-Librarian/253190371415435
Thank you again to “Eat the Book” for the Whatever Wednesday meme:

David Etkin’s words: “Whatever Wednesday — a chance to post something I’ve seen that I’m diggin’. Though often a cool quote or poster, it might simply be a picture.”
So, I’ve shared a few things lately.
My favorite overall is my favorite film makers SISBRO who create the most fantastic videos. I’ve blogged about them before…

This one: The Parrotfish Poop Song won a YouTube shorts award and they get to bring it to a Blue Ocean Film Festival:
I shared this earlier on Twitter after a wonderful friend emailed out to my Oregon Libraries Chat Group: My favorite video presently that I plan to share with students quite soon (at least my 3rd-5th graders). One Twitter friend, Maria Selke – @mselke01 is trying to collect the titles for all of the books shown in the video: can you add to this list please:

Have I mentioned how much I appreciate my talented network of colleagues around the world lately? Ever so grateful for inspiration and support… What fun it is to be an educator in today’s world, and a mom, and a book lover, etc, etc.

It makes me happy to see you continuing the “meme”. Thanks. I look forward to watching the vids later.
Now to think about Thursday’s post… Hopefully technology will be friendlier… Tonight it was annoying.
Thanks for the #easyblogging
