Something I ride by daily and look at when waiting for the bus! They’re so tall!!

Just rip up the road and work… I’ve seen this over and over in the neighborhood I live in lately. Then the next day, looks like it never happened.

My view as I walk down the stairs from my school. I was trying to capture a picture of a really cool black moth, missed it…

Causeway Bay version of the really cool store I like- Homeless.

I got lost in Homeless. Too many cool things to look at.

To sit on…

To be curious about.

To be tempted by

To chuckle at.

To want to pick up.

To purchase (it really moos!)

Nice clock, I was inspired.

Nice bookmark, thinking of a project now.

Swimming caps turned into bags! Really, bags!!

Rainboot bags, really, rain boots!! Innovation at work, plus I could already think of so many uses.

An expandable cardboard chair.

I couldn’t get enough of all the options for the chair.

And a children’s expandible chair version, wow. I just am impressed.

And then everyday objects into useful ones- reusing balloons for making a table, why not, right? Used balloons are quite a pollutant…

This was an iPAD animating the wooden toys next to it. Quite impressive in person.

PENS. REALLY TEMPTING PENS! THEY SYNC WITH YOUR IPAD and RECORD WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO…. REALLY TEMPTING…

Book Character Day!

Visited a neighbor’s library at the Peak. I was impressed with all the books from different areas of the world.

I liked the labeling of the books.

I am inspired to redo my language library area now!

I like these book stands. Short, compact and dual purposed. Now, where would we use them?

Nice, comfy, inviting chairs. I love exploring other libraries!

We went to see a movie first thing Saturday morning, Oz The Great and Powerful. I’ve been reading the Oz series for a while with my son. We really enjoy reading each book… We all wanted to see this movie. My husband and I are huge fans of Zach Braff, so that was a big draw for us to be honest but my son and I were curious to see Oz come to life. We enjoyed the movie as a family. It was quite scary at times, our son leaped into our arms during a number of scenes, but he really enjoyed it overall.

Also, I enjoyed going to a few places in Stanley with my husband on our date night- nice area with a beach and good recreation areas. We went here a few months ago but tonight it was all about good food and random places. This time we took a green minibus that was $1.25 US, it took only  35 minutes vs. taking a larger bus over an hour to get us there… Pleasant enough rides as long as you clung to the handle of the seat in front of you when the minibus went around curves. It is a huge Hong Kong tourist destination, but it is quite special. I added notes to each picture for further details about our adventures. We especially loved a bakery that it pictured at the top of this post. I especially loved finding a “What would fairies do?” and “female mustaches” temptations at the bakery.
