Styling Librarian #Thirstday
Thanks to David Etkin for this Thirst Day Meme:
Quote from David: “Today is Thursday THIRSTday.” http://mretome.wordpress.com

So, while we were at a bakery, we decided to try out their milk shakes, YUM to that choice! We were both busy relaxing and both were reading as well… So here’s a pretty abysmal image of Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl. I tried listening to the audiobook- got a copy of audio/book version where if you listen to the audiobook, then you can go to the eReader and be popped into the same reading place. Thought it would be nice to try out… Unfortunately, I really got thrown by the music on the audiobook and sound effects. (I’m a wimp, I admit it, they creeped me out.) So now I’m starting to read the eBook instead… Goodreads Summary: “Lena Duchannes is unlike anyone the small Southern town of Gatlin has ever seen, and she’s struggling to conceal her power, and a curse that has haunted her family for generations. But even within the overgrown gardens, murky swamps and crumbling graveyards of the forgotten South, a secret cannot stay hidden forever. Ethan Wate, who has been counting the months until he can escape from Gatlin, is haunted by dreams of a beautiful girl he has never met. When Lena moves into the town’s oldest and most infamous plantation, Ethan is inexplicably drawn to her and determined to uncover the connection between them. In a town with no surprises, one secret could change everything.”
