Styling Librarian #TreatTuesday Enormous Crocodile

December 3, 2013

TreatTuesday

Thanks to Twitter Friends for creating a delicious meme- Treat Tuesday.

Special thanks to Niki Barnes at Daydream Reader

and  Shannon Houghton at Ms. Houghton’s Class.

I’ll go with a book and a treat.

Enormous Crocodile

The Enormous Crocodile by Roald Dahl – Fantasy – 2nd grade through adult – Enjoyed finding this book at a book exchange recently. Looking forward to rereading this book with my kiddo! I just love the trickster story and the humor that brings you through the book. Never mind that Quentin Blake has the perfect illustrations that accompany the fantastic story.

Goodreads Summary: “The Enormous Crocodile is incredibly hungry-and incredibly greedy. His favorite meal is a plump, juicy little child, and he intends to gobble up as many of them as he can! But when the other animals in the jungle join together to put an end to his nasty schemes, the Enormous Crocodile learns a lesson he won’t soon forget.”

- Chocolate coins to help celebrate Hanukah and play dreidel! Chocolate is a favorite sweet treat…
